Dmitry says: My wife and I found Baffle in early 2006, alone and crying in an alley behind our apartment building in Cairo, where we were studying Arabic for a year. He looked to be about three weeks old. We took him in and nursed him back to health. He liked to nurse, he liked to eat, and pretty soon he had almost limitless energy. When it came time to leave Egypt and return to the States, we couldn't even consider leaving him behind. Since we can't have cats in our apartment, he now lives with my parents in Buffalo, New York, with another cat and two Siberian huskies.

He is so gorgeous. I couldn't pick a favorite picture. I'm so glad you were able to take him with you.
Isn't this the 'invisible swimming pool' photo that's been doing the rounds? So that's who the kitty is if I'm right!
I agree - every picture is 110% adorable so I would find it hard to pick a favourite.
It's easy to see why you were unable to leave him behind - but I'd have to move apartments as I'd hate to be without him after all that effort! He is GORGEOUS!
What an adorable little acrobat you have! All the photos are just too precious. A shame you can't keep him, but at least you know Grandma and Grandpa will do their best. Great photography, too! A long and happy, healthy life to you little one.
Baffle is hilarious!! I also had to change my vote several times and still think all the pictures are "the best." I am so glad you rescued him. Thanks for sharing the pictures!!
Baffle has the SWEETEST face! He's such a clown and sooooo adorable! Fantastic photos; it was really hard to pick a favorite. I can see why you couldn't leave him. So when will he get his green card?

What a great story! And some of the BEST kitty action shots I've ever seen!! All the best!
he is adorable - i could hardly pick a picture - i'm so glad you managed to take him with you and not leave him behind. thanks for sharing the pics with us - he's quite a character.
This photo says it all! So glad little Baffle wasn't left behind. Wonder how little guy behaved on the international flight home. When I was in college in the mid 70's, they let my girls travel in a carrier under my seat. Since no one was sitting next to me, they were "upgraded" to the seat next to me, but they had to stay in their carrier. On that same flight, one of the stewardess let me peek through to first class. A big fluffy white cat was curled up the seat next to an older woman. The woman had paid the full adult fare so that her kitteh wouldn't have to travel in a carrier!
