Jill says: Junebug came to our home about a week after Mabel. She was a stray from a small town outside our city. She was found all by herself and her face was all cut up. The person that brought her in didn't know what had happened to her but knew that she needed help and a loving home. Her nose was all cut, her upper lip had a big piece out of it, and she had a bald spot on her head. The poor little girl definitely needed some love. Junebug and Mabel quickly became good friends and occasionally would cuddle up with each other. Junebug was quiet and shy but loved to be around to watch when something was going on. She was a great lap cat and has such a sweet personality. She and Mabel would wrestle and entertain themselves for hours! The best kitten toy is... another kitten!

Junebug is now back at the Fredericton SPCA shelter and is looking for a loving home. We hope she finds one soon!

Such a striking beauty. Her injuries sound like she might have hitched a ride in a wheel well. I have a friend who has a cat (now 15 years old) that rode all the way to work in a coworkers wheel well -- she had similar injuries. Oddly enough she is a calico as well. But your little Junebug is absolutely delicious! I am sure she will find the perfect match!
