Heather says: My husband and I took in a pregnant stray cat named Clousette, who had a litter of six kittens on June 27, 2009, in our master bathroom tub. She is a fabulous momma and seems to be raising great kittehs. All the kittens are litter-trained and eating solid food. We are looking to find them good indoor homes once they are old enough to be fixed and separated from their siblings, in about a week. They will all be fixed and current on shots before being adopted out. We are in the McDonough, Georgia, area just south of Atlanta, and are willing to travel up to a couple of hours but don't want the kittehs to have to be in a car for too long so prefer adoptions closer to our area.
Ash is male. This lovable little ball of fur was the last to open his eyes, the last to start waking, but caught up fast with everyone else by being the first to eat solid food and the first to use the litter box. He is also the most unusual of the kittehs in that his coloring doesn't match momma's or the suspected father's in any way. You will be sure to see his little grey and white paws flailing around from under the bedroom door trying to play 'smackem' with his siblings. If you're interested in adopting Ash, please contact us at kittehpile@gmail.com. See more of the kittens on their blog.
we have two kits-soon to be labeled as 'adults' who have this same smudge under the chin. I have had kits and cats for 30 years and this is something of a "phenomenon"
worth the loving of any human being. Kudos to you for this one!!
He is just precious, a little cutie, I hope he gets a really good home, affraid we're on the other side of the states but he is so cute..Shouldn't have any problems getting this a good home.
Thank you for the caring rescue work you do. Ash is just lovely and I can't imagine someone not melting when they come to pick out a kitteh. Wishing all the bebes happy furever homes. Tummy tickles from TX.

Beautiful! Hope they all find wonderful forever homes soon. If I weren't so far away, I'd take one.
Awww!!! Cute overload! How adorable! Wonderful that you took in Clousette and her kittens and are finding them good homes.

OMG....He's soooo cute. Love him.
Great job. Thank you for looking out for all 7 of them. Are you keeping the mother?

The plan is to adopt all the kittens out and to keep Cousette. Right now, she is too protective of the kittens to integrate with the other three adults.
Aww... See? Knowing the Mommy helps. It's cool that you named him "Ash". My grandfather's name was Ashley but I like the bi-gender use of just being a grey cat. I have found kittens are happier living with a litter-mate to pounce on and share quality time together. Hopefully he can stay with a sibling.
