Eva says: This shelter kitten had a similar looking sibling and a tuxedo sibling. The mom was a beautiful tuxedo (with pink nose) named Veronica. I would have to look them up to determine if they were rescued but I am pretty sure they must have been -- they were at the beginning of the kitten season and they were healthy. Shelter kittens are sad. You may want to include poor kittens sometimes to remind people that shelters and rescuers need help, volunteers and -- politicians we elect need to know we care for animals otherwise municipal shelters will always be underfunded.
She's gorgeous! She looks to have some Siamese in her. I love rescue kitties... all three of mine are rescues, and I volunteer at a shelter every week... it's such a rewarding experience.

This little girl is a beauty. I recently rescued an abandoned stray male, all white mixed Siamese. I knew from the beginning he was abandoned, because he was very loving after I brought out some milk in a bowl a couple of times and he realized it was me. He was very affectionate, but he had definitely had a rough time outside, filled with scabs on his front paws, some scratches and the like. I took him in, and have been nursing him back to health. I'll put some pics of Simon up soon.
HOw adorable, and beautiful too just a little sweetheart Thanks for sharing. so sweet..

Two precious lil' ones.... Thanks for the awareness about Shelter kitties... Mine was a stray kitten that followed me home from Elementary school almost 18 years ago....
What a sweet, precious baby! Bless all of you who save the neglected & unwanted animals & give them a home with lots of love!

Bless anyone who helps animals! Please realize if there was a restriction on breaders (dogs and cats alike) that would drive the price of a pure bread animal up and then the demand would go down and more people would adopt from shelters. Why bring more animals into this world intentionally. Economics and such drive the "shelter" population, a shelter animal is just as wonderful as an animal with a pedigree. Just a thought.

Purrrrfect shelter kitty! My own kitty comes from a shelter and I volunteer in a cat shelter once a week working with the little darlings. Shelter kitties are the best!
Such a gorgeous baby. You are so right Eva, the shelter kitties need as much exposure as they can get. Beautiful darling babies like this one need good, loving furrever homes!
Positively beautiful. I hope she's happy wherever she is.

I love shelter kitties. :) I tried volunteering at a shelter, being a cat petter and socializer...but it was just too heart breaking for me. So now I just donate stuff they need (like bleach or food or something).
Every kitty should have a family to love them and a warm place in the sun to sleep. ^_^
If I can keep a cat in my apartment I would love to adopt kittens and or cats, just so sad my landlord won't allow me. I've been a cat lover since my childhood and I have none now..Longed for 1..
